Susan F McGraw Keber

A top producer for several years, Susan F. McGraw Keber began her career in real estate with Allan M. Schneider Associates. Thereafter she became an associate broker with The Corcoran Group and more recently Susan sought to reposition her efforts with Town & Country Real Estate whose genesis was founded on the premise that "big" need not be better especially if it removed the accessibility and personal communication of individuals who know well their own "hometown."

Susan is known for her intuitive and keen instincts. When coupled with her unbridled dedication to providing necessary and factual details, she is compelled to present knowledge that will enable her customer and homeowner to make a decision based on their specific needs and goals. Known for her integrity, honesty, and seasoned market knowledge which spans nearly thirty years as a full time resident, Susan has developed a business that is based on trust and the willingness to prepare and research thoroughly for every transaction. As a result of her dedicated work ethic, Susan often works through referrals based on accolades offered by highly satisfied customers and clients. Susan always finds the perfect home!

Born in Manhattan, Susan was raised in Pennslyvania and New Jersey, spending childhood summers at the family home built in 1860 in the small town of Lovell in Maine on Kezar Lake. Hidden in the majestic White Mountains overlooking the pristine lake, it was during those summers in Lovell that Susan became fond of the solitude, scent of pine trees, "song" of the Loons on the lake as she canoed, and the gentle grace of nature left unharmed by civilization.

A former Manhattan resident, Susan was drawn to move to the Hamptons full time after spending several summers as a renter nearly thirty years ago. The small town atmosphere, friendly community members and shopkeepers, vegetable stands, nurseries, farmlands, fisherman, bays and expansive beaches were all reminiscent of Maine and in the early 1980's she moved to the East End where she designed and built a home and raised her son, now a college student.

"My fiduciary and moral obligation to all parties concerned in every transaction is paramount to my work ethic. It is my goal to provide the most concise, honest, and professional guidance in real estate market information with each individual I am privileged to work with. I am of the opinion that imparting information well serves the customer and client in their decision which is based on their particular needs and goals. To that end I know my job has been successful and I have guided my customers and clients well."

A former fashion illustrator, Susan has been an assistant to fashion designer Carol Cohen, a fashion editor at REDBOOK magazine, illustrator and cartoonist for magazines, consultant and creator for several public relations campaigns, a national media spokesperson for fashion and beauty companies, a photojournalist, and is a commercial actor and voice over talent. For several years Susan's voice could be heard on weekends from Southampton's WPBX 88.3FM as the host of the weekend jazz programs she produced.

Currently Susan enjoys volunteer work at a children's hospital with her certified pet therapy dog and is a certified hospice and palliative caregiver. Susan is a member of the NRDC: Natural Resources Defense Council and participates in the annual Revlon Walk/Run for Breast cancer fundraiser event. Susan is committed to the aide of others less fortunate than she and her family and is a long standing member of The Christian Children's Fund through which several years ago she adopted a Guatemalan boy and his family. Susan and her husband Paul are avid scuba divers and whenever possible, are likely to be found in the depths of the ocean waters devoid of cell phones where the only sound heard is that of the marvelous marine life!
