Norm, originally from North Salem, N.Y., came to the East End in 1996, moving to Sagaponack in 2004, after changing careers from semiconductor industry sales for both American and German companies which spanned 25 years. He joined the Corcoran Group Bridgehampton office, and moved on to Southampton's Engel and Voelkers, whose capabilities complemented his interest in serving an international clientele with sales and rental offerings.

Norm's client following has benefitted from his broad geographic and market familiarity with the East End, balanced by a special appreciation of Southampton, owing to the wide spectrum of properties and customer interests which drive this dynamic real estate environment.

In 1993 he married Bonnie Trompeter, his Middlebury College sweetheart, former Ford model and Hamptons resident since 1968; both take full advantage of the cultural, artistic, and recreational abundance of the area, with occasional visits to their home in Costa Rica's surfing and yoga mecca of Nosara.
