Philantrophy
Here on the East End, any time is prime time for giving, not just the holiday season. However it's a different kind of giving... it actually is the "gift that keeps giving." It's philanthropic giving. While there may not be ribbons and bows, there's plenty of heart felt thank yous from people, organizations and charities that truly make a difference everyday of the year. If you should get an opportunity to be on the board or serve on a committee for one of the many organizations out here, we assure you, you will be amazed at the selflessness that these individuals gift to their cause with no trepidation. So whether you find it in your heart to give monetarily to preserve land for future generations to enjoy, or donate your skills to keeping the arts and music available for all, or possibly you've been personally touched by the Angels who come into our lives to help us at the most vulnerable time of sickness and death, we implore you to find a cause and give generously, whether it be in time, skills or monetarily. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you have given of yourself to something much greater and to something that will be here for generations to come. Here at Town & Country we are honored to give to so many but in particular, the Peconic Land Trust and Fighting Chance. This year we chose to not only gift significantly to these two in particular, but also donate our time and wisdom to their Boards because Fighting Chance and Peconic Land Trust are of the same elk as Town & Country. They are local, organic and selective. Furthermore the services Fighting Chance provides at the most fragile time of need in cancer patients and the mission of Peconic Land Trust to preserve the natural environment that makes the East End so special are, simply put, incomparable in value. Please join us in supporting these two phenomenal organizations and the very special people who make it all possible.
