Dolores Zanieski-Peterson loves working with people; she knows the North Fork as an insider. She raised her three daughters on a potato farm in Cutchogue sorting potatoes and tying cauliflower, and also taught about farming as a 4-H leader for Cooperative Extension.

She started and grew her own business: a racehorse lay-up farm in Jamesport (Sound Turnouts)-it became the largest of its kind on the East Coast. Sophisticated in business, Dolores worked with well-known Long Island companies: after her affiliation with Entenmann's Bakery, Robert Entenmann asked Dolores to run his race horse operation in Aquebogue; she worked as his personal assistant after he started Martha Clara Vineyards.

Dolores is licensed by the state as a trainer and has also worked as a vet tech and equine massage therapist. She is also a member of the LI Farm Bureau, New York State Thoroughbred Association, and is the founder of The East End Horsemen's Association. Her husband Robert Peterson works for Cornell Cooperative Extension, and they have three daughters, Erin, a school teacher, Anna, with Capital One Bank, and Toni, a commercial real estate attorney.

Dolores previously worked with Prudential Real Estate for a number of years specializing in residential, but also farm, winery and horse properties; Dolores is now excited to have joined her new "family" at Town and Country Real Estate!
