Originally from Mount Sinai, Cathy got a taste of hard work at the age of 12 helping in her father's insurance business. She ultimately was more interested in interior design, and was offered a scholarship to attend Parsons School of Design. Cathy was hired by her teacher to work on room layout for home models in Purchase, NY. She transitioned into the worlds of furniture design and structural engineering, plus ran her own interior design business, giving her invaluable experience and knowledge that's fueled her success in real estate. Married with two children, to whom she affectionately refers to as her "Pride and Joys", Cathy, her family, her Pekinese Suki, Persian Zoe, and Eclectus Parrot Jules, live in Southold. They also own a home in Maine, near beautiful Baxter State Park and the Allagash wilderness. Cathy has a strong passion for nature, wildlife and preserving the environment. She also has an interest in geology, and gemology, and intends to start faceting gemstones. Cathy is also a painter whose preferred medium is water colors, and whose work has been both shown on Long Island in a jury of selection show and commissioned.
